Phylogeny of Birds (Science)

Clearly, the Nature article is not the last word on bird phylogeny. The following Science article “Whole-genome analyses resolve early branches in the tree of life of modern birds” shows a different picture. Not altogether too different, but sufficiently so to make it clear that the last word on bird phylogeny is not quite there yet (see also Phylogeny of Neoaves (MDPI) for more recent work on Neoaves).
