BlackbirdNB

Commonly seen in the apple tree, on the Pyracantha bush or on the lawn.

Blue TitNB

At times seen near the coconut feeder on the apple tree, when no other bigger or more aggressive birds are around.

ChaffinchB

Once seen singing in the apple tree (blog of 11 April 2018).

GoldfinchB

Once seen singing on the roof of the house opposite. Also doing the same on the top of the crabapple tree. (blog of 24 October 2019)

Great Spotted WoodpeckerB

Observed on two occasions during the 2016/17 winter on the coconut feeder in the apple tree (blog of 11 February 2017).

Great Tit

Often around in the apple tree, more visible in the winter when they visit the coconut feeder there.

House SparrowB

A group of between 5 and 10 birds often use the quince bush or the apple tree as their hangout place throughout the year. A large group of sparrows gorging on the berries of the Pyracantha bush is the topic of the 10 September 2017 blog.

Jackdaw

More often than not prefer to frequent the roof tops, although in the winter they come and investigate the coconut feeder on the apple tree.

Long-tailed TitB

Seen on a number of occasions as a group in the apple tree (blog of 11 August 2018).

MagpieB

Commonly seen about everywhere in or near the front garden, mostly on the grass and in the winter in the apple tree for the cocnut feeder. On one occasion observed a large number of magpies congregating on the roof of no.2, Cwm Gwynlais (blog of 15 October 2015).

RobinB

Commonly seen in the apple tree or on the Pyracantha bush (blog of 19 December 2019).

Wood Pigeon

Tends to forage on the lawn, although at times they can also be seen in the apple tree.

Wren

Seen in the hollybush and Christmas trees, presumably foraging for insects.
