Western Orphean Warbler

Rarity of the year 2019 : caught in the mist nets near the Bird Observatory and not seen before or after – only 8 people (2 staff, 1 volunteer, and 5 members of the public) saw it, 3 or 4 of whom had cameras, in order to witness the second ever instance of this bird in Wales and the sixth in the UK (see also the Twitter entry for Bardsey Island)
