Ever since part of the reeds have been cut back some time in late September 2016, kingfishers appear to have become quite common at the reed beds overlooked by both bird hides at Forest Farm. Below is a collection of pictures taken during the weeks that followed.

We’re very lucky here at Forest Farm – you’re almost bound to see a kingfisher if you sit tight for about an hour.
